REAL NAPPIES AND CREAM Ensure that if you use creams or balms, that the area does not touch the nappy directly. Usually the liner creates a barrier and protects the nappies from balms and creams. This is not to say you can't use them, most parents use creams and they are safe to use with Real Nappies. Simply ensure that cream does not go directly onto the nappy as this can cause the nappy to become water resistant. If this occurs, simply follow the instructions for stripping your nappies (under Smelly Nappy Heading). This will remove any residue build up from washing agents, creams or balms. |
